I don't travel this road a lot. There is a fallin down barn about a quarter mile down the road that I'm gonna stop and photograph someday. I can't say that I've ever really noticed this old house foundation.
I'm sure I've seen it, but my eyeballs just didn't save it to my memory banks. I'll hafta make it a point to go back there and shoot some more pics when things begin to green up a bit.
Been a couple weeks since I replaced my video card and I've had no crashes. Now if I could figger out why some of my programs lock up when they are supposed to loadin, I would be a bit happier computer user.
Fat Tuesday is history. I didn't make it to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year. Come to think of it, I've never been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Never been to New Orleans either. Guess I'll hafta watch Mardi Gras on 'Cops' later this spring.
Seems to be a bit of controversy about paczkis this year. There was a sizeable article about them in the Sunday paper. Seems that there a lot of counterfeit paczkis this time of year. Authentic paczkis are made with a yeast dough that is allowed to raise twice. They come plain or raisin or prune filled and are covered with either powdered sugar or granulated sugar. Some guy with a very 'Polish-like' name wrote a letter to the editor of the Toldeo paper yesterday backin up the facts. Counterfeit paczis are merely jelly filled doughnuts. So put it on next year's calendar and don't get counterfeit paczkis !!!!
There was a full page article about scrapbookin in a recent newspaper too. Seems that scrapbookin is still goin strong. In fact one scrapbookin friend goes on over night, weekend scrapbookin retreats!!! Gotta be a hardcore scrapbooker to do that. I have a cousin that makes photo books. She's gettin pretty good at it. I wonder if that is a form of scrapbookin?
