Garage sales are becoming fewer and fewer. The merchandise selections seems to be about the same at all the sales. It's like everything that is going to be sold has been sold. Maybe I should go to another town for garage sales once in a while.
The local news paper reported that a silage filled silo tipped over near Ney. The farmer noticed that it was beginning to lean and was able to get stuff out of the way. Someone set fire to the Imagination Station at one of the city parks Thursday. Damage is around $20,000. It was constructed by a lot of volunteer labor about 15 yrs ago. This type of playground equipment seems to be a frequent target of arsonists.
It rained yesterday . . . three times . . . .07 overnight and twice yesterday PM. .65" fell during the PM. It was the beginning of the line of storms that traveled across the state and became stronger as it traveled east. Received a measurable amount a couple weeks ago. If this keeps up I may have to start mowing my yard once a week.
Ever click on the 'Next Blog' at the top of the page? I do this once in a while to see what comes up. I can't believe the colors some people put together. Some of them are next to impossible to read. Some of the blogs go weeks and months between new posts. You may not always get impressive, groundbreaking, earth shattering content with my blog, but I usually come up with several ramblin posts about something each week. Guess that is what keeps you comin back . . . Right???
