Weather This Week

Lot of weather warnings, advisories and statements during the past week. Around a foot of snow has fallen since last Friday with 1-4 more inches possible tomorrow. All the snowfall has occurred with my snow blower in the shop. It could have been much worse. Tuesday's Winter Storm Warning was canceled with virtually nothing happening. Wednesday & Thursday's Blizzard Warning was canceled with little drifting. The Wind Chill Warning wasn't canceled and we still have a Wind Chill Advisory till sometime early tomorrow morning. The temperature reading on my wireless weather station early Thursday morning was -14.6 degrees. Today's early morning reading was -18.2 degrees. The reading right now (about 5:30 pm) is -2 degrees. Pretty brutal temperatures for this part of Ohio.

Spring is on the way. Poor Will's Almanack says the days are 20 minutes longer than just 3 weeks ago. Poor Will also says that spring has begun to move from New Orleans northward at the rate of six miles per day. I wonder how many miles Bryan Ohio is from New Orleans.
