Is There A Full Moon . . . .

I have been answering many more eBay questions than usual this week. Usually 3 or 4 questions per month is a heavy month. I have answered 14 questions since Sunday of this past week. About half of them were yesterday . . . and they weren't the most intelligent questions. I finally had one of my "Well, Duh . . ." moments last night and began to wonder if there was a full moon this week. Full moon was yesterday.

A couple evenings ago, someone bought a set of cookie cutters. A minute after I received the payment email, I received an email asking when they were going to be shipped because they were going to be needed soon. First time I got a note like that one. For the record I almost always ship the next business day.

A lady wanted to know when she was going to get her item. She didn't tell me what she was expecting or any other way to identify out what she was expecting. It had been 6 days since she made the purchase. That is all I had to go on. Turned out she was from Canada and the item arrived on the 7th day. That is about average for Canada.

Yesterday I answered several questions from the another lady. She had no feedback and has been an eBay member for about 1-1/2 yrs. She apparently has no clue how eBay works. She wanted the item that was listed as an auction badly, but wanted a buy it now price. I tried to explain the process and told her she was welcome to bid. She didn't bid and the item sold well over the beginning bid.

Another lady asked me the sizes of cookie cutters in a specific set. I was tempted to tell her to read the description, but I cut & pasted the info from the listing and sent it to her.

So far I haven't received any "full moon" questions today, but it is only a few minutes after noon. If I turn off the computer I won't have any questions to answer (Well, Duh . . . . . . again).
