Goldenrod & September

Goldenrod and September seem to go together like cake and ice cream . . . peanut butter and jelly . . . rum and coke? Are ya gettin the idea yet? Since it is September, I decided to get a nice pic of goldenrod.

This is one of my goldenrod pics. Most photographers get close-ups of bees, or even dragon flies on flowers. What do I end up with ??? A common house fly. Maybe this is why I'm not getting any award winning magazine covers. But I'm pretty darn sure you haven't seen a shot of a fly on goldenrod, have ya???????
