The downy woodpecker was back again this AM. Couldn't get a camera on him through the blinds, etc. The angles just weren't there today. He'll be back.
Those little, blue-haired ladies are still around. I wonder how many go south for the winter . . . not enough if anyone asks me. Anyway, last Saturday morning it was snowing pretty good. I had a couple packages that had to go to the post office. There was four of us getting to the door at about the same time. Leading the way was a little, blue-haired lady. The guy in front of me got the door for her. One step inside, she stopped abruptly and stomped the snow from her feet. Then she couldn't decide whether to go to her left or her right. Meanwhile the rest of us all but crashed into her and each other trying not to crash into her and each other. Ya know, if they would station a bunch of little, blue-haired ladies on the border, I really don't think a lot of illegals could get through.
The line at the post office was really long yesterday AM. . . I'm a regular there. Ya hafta take packages going out of the country to the post office . . . likewise any package that won't fit in the mailbox. One lady had 3 little kids with her. They were wearing their winter coats, but she wasn't wearing a coat at all. What's with that?? Another guy had his package gift wrapped including a bow. I wonder how long the bow was able to stay attached?? Today's trip was uneventful.
