There is a saying, 'The Other Line Always Moves Faster.' that seems to me to be more true than not. I was in Menard's recently and chose a line with only 1 person with just a couple items. By the time it was my turn, the line next to me had checked out three customers with multiple items. Decided to do some research on this annoyance. Skipped the Wikipedia and went straight to YouTube. Here is what I found . . . As explained by an engineer of some type . . . Seems to have somethin to do with telephones . . .
I'm still not sure which line to use . . .
