It wasn't anything fancy or deep, but it is the first snow of November, 2011. This is what I saw out the back door this mornin. Actually the first flake I saw was Thursday PM. I was comin out of the vet's office and it ended up hittin me in the face.
The vet lady wanted to see my cat, Patches T. Cat, again, yesterday. We been tweekin her meds all summer. Patches is gettin better! She gained 3 ounces in two weeks and her heart rate is back to normal, which is around 150 for a cat. She has been a lot more active and doesn't sleep near as much as she was, which was about all the time. Gotta watch them older cats close. Patches is 18 yrs old. The vet lady said her oldest cat patient is 26 . . . Wow!
While at the vet's office one of those dreaded little blue-haired ladies came in by herself. She was there to pick up dog. Now I would have never guessed she was pickin up her greyhound. Just didn't seem like a logical match. I hafta say that her dog was exceptionally well mannered. Glad to see 'mom', but she never barked or even considered jumpin up on her 'mom.' The dog just wagged her tail way over the speed limit and rubbed up against the lady.
Went to the polls last Tuesday and came upon a group of those little blue-haired ladies at the entrance, talkin to each other as fast as they could. Had to fight my way through them just to get to the door. Just as I was reachin for the door handle they decided to go in. They had it timed perfectly! I had to stand there, holdin the door for them, bein a near perfect gentleman. I'm pretty sure it was one of those planned things that they do to get in my way everywhere and anyway they can.
