It Was Worth A Try . . .

I got to work this morning and went straight to the back to get my mower ready.  I figgered that maybe if I went out to mow right away, they wouldn't come after me and make me help pick up and haul limbs.  We been working a couple hours or so first thing each morning on downed limbs and trees.

I was my own worst enemy !!  I was fueling up and somehow knocked or kicked the gas cap to parts unknown.  I couldn't find it.  Soon they came to the back to get ready to clean up limbs.  It took a while for all of us to find it.  Anyways, I had to help with the clean up.  We have a few limbs here and there to pickup and a huge willow tree limb and a downed pine tree to deal with.  It is the pine tree that I dread.  There are all those disgusting needles and that sticky pine sap.  Fooling around with pine trees in hot, humid conditions is not my idea of fun. I don't even like to mow around them when the weather is like this.

Maybe next time . . .
