Late October Snowstorm . . .

Looked outside and this is what I saw . . . I guess there was a late October snowstorm last night.  All the roofs on my street were covered with snow . . . and melted by 9 AM.


I was right . . . for a change.  Yesterday I spotted a sign company workin on this sign.  I was thinkin it needed fixed so they could lower the price.  Today, gas is down to $3.30.  The price of milk never seems to change.  

Big news in town this week is the flagless courthouse.  The court house clock tower has had a flagpole and flag on its peak since it was built in the 1870's.  The pole was getting wobbly, so they removed it.  There are no immediate plans to replace it because of the very high cost to do so.
