I was flipping through some "Birds & Blooms" magazines and came across this recipe and started laughing. Chocolate covered prunes sounds good, don't they? If you have an older crowd over for a cookout out this summer, you could serve them as desert and use that old fondue set from the '70's one more time.
Chocolate-Covered Prunes
48 dried pitted prunes (about 1 pound)
48 whole almonds or walnut halves
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
