I took a hike through Goll Woods last weekend looking for signs of spring.
The 'floor' is starting to show green here and there.
There are still a few leaves on the trees and seed pods everywhere.
I believe these are violets. They were pretty plentiful.
I'm not sure what these are called.
I took photos of a couple other spring flowers but they were blurred. The wind made it difficult to take clear closeups. Maybe next time.
Yellow trout lilies! I only know this because they were all over my woods when we moved here and I looked them up. I have white ones too but not very many. :o)
