The Butter Fly House

I was rained out Thursday of this past week. I decided that the PM might be a good time to visit the Butterfly House with my camera. This is the place that was in the national news last fall for the Sarah Palin corn maze. If you visit their web site, check out the web cam.

I picked a good day -- very few visitors and the butterflies were very active. Butterflies are not easy for me to photograph. They don't like to pose. They prefer to flutter everywhere but where I can get my camera on them. It is a peaceful place to be. One lady came in and sat down and was still sitting when I left.

Below are some of the better shots I got.

This one was easy to miss. I looks like a yellowed leaf.

This guy didn't mind posing and gave me a wink and a 'butterfly' smile.
