It was a 'tough Monday.' I'm not complainin, but it was a tough day. I started out to list a few things for eBay. For whatever reason, I couldn't get anything to list correctly. I spent a couple hours tryin to list one thing. Strange thing was that I didn't get upset or anything. I just kept pluggin away. I only listed one thing. I scheduled it to start shortly after 9 PM. I wonder if it will list.
Doing my sales tax was next on the list. Ohio has gone to internet filing. I settle up twice a year. Last July was the first time I had to file via the internet. I don't mind doing it that way, I just couldn't remember how to do it. When I finally figgered it out, the form wouldn't calculate my taxes owed. I couldn't type it in. After fooling around with it for who knows how long, I tried a different form. It was almost identical to the one that wouldn't work. The second form worked like it was supposed to. Another 15 minute job taking who knows how long. Every other thing I attempted today went about the same way.
When I went to the Y for today's workout, the parking lot was all but full. Thought maybe there was a swim meet or maybe the little kids basketball program was going on. Nothing like that, just a heck of a lot of adults there at the same time. I usually do 30 minutes on the elliptical machine before lifting. All but a couple bikes were being used. So I went upstairs to use the nautilus machines. People were all but standing in line. I almost went home, but I stood in line anyway. I discovered that 3 machines were out of service awaiting repair. I worked a few machines and went downstairs to check the aerobic machines. I was able to get on one, but became near fatally bored after only 20 minutes. That happens when I get forced out of my routine. I went back upstairs to finish lifting, but didn't finish my workout. All in all, a tough Monday. I may turn in very early tonight.
I had a great idea for the blog today, but the photo didn't work out. Seems like that is happening more and more often. Tomorrow is another day for that idea. Anyway, rather than shoot a door knob, I went to the garage and shot the emblem on the MINI. Not a good photo, but it keeps my string alive.
