Odds 'n Ends . . .

kalidescope

At the suggestion of one of my reader's, I attempted to photograph the inside of one of my egg shaped kalidescopes.  I'm sure there is a sure fire method of doin this and I'm sure I didn't use it.  A close up lens on a DSLR camera probably would have made a big difference.  Keepin all the specks of dust out would help too.

Pretty good weekend eBay wise.  Eleven packages went out yesterday.  Eight cookie cutter sets, 3 ball gloves and a shirt pattern.  Four packages were international costin just over $25.  Since the clerk knew I sell lots of cookie cutters, she asked if I'd be willin to come over to the house and make Valentine cookies with her daughter for today's party at school.  Told her I didn't have any Valentine type cookie cutters, so I couldn't help her out.  Don't think it is a good idea to get involved with a little girl's Valentine cookies, if you know what I mean . . .

In addition to putting my computer case back together yesterday, I ventured outside to see if I could figger out why my weather station hasn't been workin since I replace the batteries.  Found out that I put the batteries in wrong. Don't have a good reason why I didn't check that when I replaced the batteries a couple weeks ago.

The houses on my street are starting to have roof replacements.  I re-shingled mine a year ago last fall.  A contractor started a roof down the street yesterday.  This morning there was a couple or three inches of snow on the roof.  They swept it off and have been workin on it since.
