Thursday, March 15 . . .

The boss decided that he and I should rake the 18th fairway  this mornin.  Always a lot of sticks layin around this time of year.  Hafta admit that he rakes pretty good.  Just can't answer his phone and rake at the same time.  After a couple hours, he had me mow greens.  That took the rest of the day. 




This is the 10th green, one day after I took the photo in yesterday's blog post.  It has been mowed twice since I rolled it yesterday.  It looks a lot better than yesterday.  A bit of warm weather and a mowin really 'greens' them up fast. 


I caught myself thinkin that I should be wearin shorts.  The temperature was probably in the low 80's with very little wind.  But then I started thinkin 'shorts on March 15????'  I'm hopin April isn't cold, wet and rainy.  Hate to find myself out there drivin a mower and freezin various body parts off.
